  1.  Why USA?Why not other countries?

=I have an option to go for the best. The US Universities have gr8 facilities for research. Moreover, an MS degree from a Univ in US has high recognition back here in INDIA, and would help me to establish myself in a good position after my MS.

As the curriculum is more practical in application oriented. I wish to be the best and be the best.

The curriculum is the most updated and keeps abreast with the latest across the globe. IIT and NIT?s are considered the best but admissions are influenced by several external factors such as Reservations, Performance in the option of other applicants on that particular day. My opportunities are reduced more to chances. That’s why I chose US schools which have a transparent and clear admission process.

  1.  So which university

( Ice breaker, Answer to the point )

=University of  XXX Better to prepare documents by yourself than getting help from fraud consultancies

  1.  And what other admits did you get

(Explain about the speciality of the school and research being conducted in your department at this university.

  1. Why only this university? Why only one? (This answer should be a really personal one don’t go around saying research good facilities lab)

P.S This is where you explain concisely does not repeat the same thing and

=Few of my seniors, my frenz have guided me and net.

This school is the best out of my admits.

(Explain about the speciality of the school and research being conducted in your department at this university.

I appreciate Ur concern but Univ of Illinois, UIS is my first choice.I picked up the schools which suit my profile.

  1. Tell me about your work experience and the role in your present office

(The problems you had while needing to design the drainage systems and flood modelings based on such a scarce uneven and inconsistent data, made you feel there needs to be other way!! Further Education needed what better than in USA)

=

  1. Why MS?Now

=

  1.  What are you going to specialize in (Straight forward answer just wants to know the understanding of the course and research topic)
